Independent Communication Authority of SA (ICASA) is to approach the court to compel the Ministry of Communications to release its annual budget.
ICASA acting chairperson Doctor Keabetswe Modimoeng says they have decided to take the court route after the Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams failed to release their up to R450 million annual funds.
ICASA had given the Minister a deadline of 11am on Monday to pay one of the four installments of its annual budget. She missed the deadline.
Acting Chairperson Dr Modimoeng addressed the media a short while ago in Pretoria.
