The City of Cape Town has called on emerging artists based in the Mother City to apply for a programme aimed at improving their skills and opportunities in the industry.
Mayoral Committee Member for Community Services, Zahid Badroodien, says the programme focusses on artists who don’t have resources, training and exposure due to historic inequality.
“It starts at the end of May and it will consist of certain specific workshops, the programme will take place on Fridays and Saturdays and all sessions are compulsory. It is free of charge, but space is limited, the closing date is May 22 and applications can also be requested by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org”
