The City of Cape Town and Table Mountain Cableway are collaborating to ensure that the famous site is accessible to more local and domestic visitors.
The city says it is finalising a Draft Tourism Development Framework, which aims to boost domestic tourism.
It says the cableway offers year-round deals, which are tailored for locals, special holidays, pensioners and others, but there’s a need to get more people, especially marginalised groups, to visit one of the new 7 wonders of the world.
