The chairperson of the Task Team in Vuwani outside Thohoyandou, in Limpopo, Takalani Mukhudi has confirmed that its spokesperson, Arnold Mulaudzi was arrested on Tuesday night.
This after earlier reports that he was forcibly taken away from his house by people who claimed to be police officers, and his whereabouts were unknown.
The Task Team supporters shut down all businesses and services on Tuesday and announced that they are boycotting Wednesday’s elections.
Meanwhile, voters in Vuwani outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo have started voting despite a boycott by some residents.

“I’m also from Tshivhulana. I’m grateful. We need water and proper roads. I voted for a party of my choice, my name is Mutavhini Mudau.”
