Little Democracy Left in Canada

Corporations Run Our Governments – Own Our Media – Control Trudeau

Our problems are deeper than Homelessness and High House Prices and Health Care and Pipelines. These things – and many more – are just ‘the symptoms’. Our real problem is that our Democracy and our Media are owned by Corporate Canada. It is this problem that underlies all the others.

Canadians now have very little voice in how our country is governed. Our Politicians and our Governments don’t work for us. They work for Corporate Canada. Our top politicians have sold us out in exchange for nice jobs, good salaries, and great pensions. Those politicians are doing very well – we pay. One Small Example: 80% of Canadians want ‘GMO foods’ labeled. But Corporate Canada doesn’t want them labeled. So they aren’t. GMO foods are poisonous and a major environmental threat. But we have to eat them because the people who run Canada don’t care what we want. We Canadians are irrelevant in our own country, and THAT is what must change if we want to solve our problems. Can We Believe Latest RCMP Terror Bombing Story?

Two weeks after one RCMP Bombing Story turns out
to be a pack of lies … the Media gives us another one
with no questions asked!

August 11, 2016: We now have another RCMP Terror Bombing story in Canada. The Corporate Media AGAIN believes every word the RCMP tells them … and the Media is again putting the words ‘Muslim – Terror – Bombing’ over and over into the minds of all Canadians. And they are telling us how much we NEED Bill C51 to protect us from this terror.

And this is exactly what the Media did with the other terror story – the one a BC Supreme Court Judge just said is a lie. Based on that fake RCMP story from July 2013, the Media has told Canadians the words ‘Muslim – Terror – Bombing’ for almost three years – and told us how much we need Bill C51. The Corporate Media linked Muslim Canadians for 3 long years to a ‘terror attack’ that Canadian Muslims had NOTHING to do with because the attack was completely done by the RCMP. And the Media and the RCMP and CSIS used the RCMP attack to push for Bill C51. Which gives them even more powers to betray us. Continue reading

Community TV and the CRTC “Hearing”

The following email was sent to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC):

To whom it may concern:

Many residents of our community do not want to have cable TV because it is full of consumerism, trash culture and its high cost. Still, in a democratic society, these citizens should have the right to manage, produce and view their own Community TV.

But when the CRTC says: “Cable companies will continue to have the stewardship of the community channel on behalf of their subscribers as they have for decades. The CRTC was not persuaded that this successful model should be changed.” … The CRTC shows little care about these citizens and their ability to take on the responsibility of their community TV, and citizens are told to accept that giant cable companies which dominate all the air waves and communications are also here to manage our community TV. Murder in France

We ARE Under Attack … but by Whom??

(July 21, 2016) Since 9/11, so much has been a False Flag or a Lie. I think 9/11 itself was a False Flag supported by the most powerful people in the U.S. That’s why neither the U.S. nor Canadian Governments had an honest investigation. And that’s why the Corporate Media will never ask the questions that would blow the lid off the official 9/11 lies. Thousands of innocent people were killed on 9/11, and those deaths led to millions more deaths in the Middle East. That was The Corporate Plan and they carried it out and led us into a disaster that seems to work for them.

A U.S. War OF Terror: The destruction of Afghanistan and Iraq was based on lies. Those nations were destroyed by a U.S. led War OF Terror. Canada participated. This War of Terror was sold to us by our corrupt Media. Libya was then destroyed by a NATO attack led by a Canadian General. And now Syria. Continue reading

Trudeau Gives Canada’s Community Television Money to Shaw, Rogers, Bell …

About $80 Million – half of Canada’s Community TV budget – will go to
these poor corporations who need it so much

(July 8, 2016): Community TV is the one place on television not completely controlled by Corporate Canada. Community TV is where The News – not just ‘The Corporate News’ – can still be spoken. At least Sometimes.

Unfortunately, the federal government allows big cable companies like Rogers, Shaw, and Videotron to ‘control’ our Community TV stations, so things are not as good as they could be. But if it was ‘freed up’, Community TV could help transform our country. Media is important in a democracy because citizens need honest facts and information so we can make intelligent decisions in our own best interests. People also need access to a variety of ideas and perspectives about important issues. The Corporate Media gives us none of this. On all important issues, only ‘The Official Story’ is allowed.

Community Television allows average citizens to be on TV and talk about all the things the corporations won’t allow in ‘their’ media. So Community TV can act as a ‘balance’ to the tremendous power of the Corporate Owned Media. And we Canadians desperately need that balance at this time in our history when so very much is at risk.

But instead, Justin Trudeau is taking away the money Community TV needs. And he’s giving it to his friends in Corporate Canada. Continue reading

Are Homelessness and High House Prices Two Parts of the Same Plan?

Would Corporate Canada create a housing shortage to push up prices and make a fortune?
While ‘the corporate media’ remains silent…

(May 27, 2016):    I think the Billionaires who run this country have deliberately created a shortage of homes in many of our cities.  The housing shortage has pushed up prices and put millions of Canadians deeply into debt, while creating huge profits for the 1%.  The shortage has also created a homeless problem that is destabilizing our cities and harming us all.  And this is not by accident, this IS the corporate plan.

There is little available housing in many of our cities. So thousands of people at the bottom of the economic ladder have been forced onto the streets.  These are Canadians who don’t have enough money to compete for a place to live.  In the past we had enough homes for everyone.  But now we don’t.  Why?

Here in Victoria BC, the Media constantly blame the homeless and pit them against ‘the rest of us’.  But the media NEVER tell us why we have this problem. Continue reading

Trudeau Names President of Canada China Business Council to Senate …

(March 18, 2016) Peter Harder is now the Trudeau Government’s ‘representative’ in the Senate. Mr. Harder is also President of the Canada China Business Council … and headed the Trudeau government’s Transition Team. He also worked in the federal government for almost 30 years.

For Mr. Trudeau to place the President of a Corporate Trade Group into such a prominent position without fully informing Canadians is worrisome. Does Mr. Harder represent Canadians, or Corporations?

Canadian MPs to vote on Stronger Parliament and Democracy soon

Very soon, at the FIRST caucus meeting of each party, a HUGE decision is going to be made. At their first Caucus Meetings, our MPs can vote to get some power for themselves .. and hopefully for us.
